Description of Services:
Counseling and Disabilities Services supports the mission of the College of integrating the classroom experience with the out-of-classroom experience by helping students maximize their potential in the areas of cognitive complexity, social relations, and personal psychological development. The office desires to create an environment conducive to personal growth and to create a community of wellness and self-help by providing preventive mental health programs which impact a large number of students, faculty, and staff. Typical accommodations include: test taking accommodations (extended time, alternative locations & formats), coursework accommodations (note taker, assistive technology, priority seating, alternative format texts), mobility accommodations and psychiatric accommodations (counseling).
