Description of Services:
Through the Office of Disability Services, the college seeks to meet individual needs by coordinating accommodations and implementing policies regarding programs, services, and activities for individuals with disabilities. Our office serves as a source of information for students and faculty/staff and as a link between students, departments, and other associated agencies. The Office of Disability Services provides reasonable accommodations to assist otherwise qualified students with disabilities in meeting the demands of college life. Examples of reasonable accommodations include, but are not limited to, the following: a) making existing facilities readily accessible and usable bypersons with disabilities, b) modified schedules, c) acquisition or modification of equipment or devices, d) appropriate adjustment or modifications of examinations, and e) provision of qualified readers or interpreters.
